first Girl Scout Troop in Titusville PA started in October,
1932 & met at St. Titus Church.
Girl Scout Cookie history:
Earliest
sales began in the 1920's

national GS cookie sale was held in 1936.
The
oldest GS cookie is the Trefoil (shortbread cookie)
Best
selling cookie is the Thin Mint
Goals
of the cookie sales: Teach girls business skills &
budgeting the troops' earnings. Girls get to decide how the
money is spent.
